(Porlamar, 1927 – El Consejo, 2011)<\/h4>\n

Estudi\u00f3 bachillerato en el Liceo San Jos\u00e9 de los Teques. Luego se alista en el ej\u00e9rcito. A lo largo de su vida, realiz\u00f3 diversos oficios, desde motorizado hasta agente de un cantante, que le llevaron a vivir en varios pa\u00edses del mundo: B\u00e9lgica, Suiza, Alemania, Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

Entre sus libros destacan: Al sur del Equanil (1963). El Bonche (1976), \u00a1Viva la pasta! o Las ense\u00f1anzas de Don Giuseppe (1984), La noche escuece (1985), \u00cdnsulas (1996),\u00a0Quanos (1997), El embrujo del olor a huevos fritos (2008). En 2006 recibi\u00f3 el Premio Nacional de Literatura.<\/p>\n
