Es articulista de The New York Times (en espa\u00f1ol).<\/p>\n<p>Ha publicado los siguientes libros: El continente de papel (1984), Pueblos, Venezuela 1979-1984 (1986), La Vega, una casa colonial (1988), El borrador (1996), Amores y castigos (1998) y Los traumat\u00f3logos de Kosovo (2002) La carpa y otros cuentos (2008), El peor de la clase (2010).<\/p>\n<p>Sus art\u00edculos period\u00edsticos y ensayos han sido reunidos en La ciudad sin lengua (2001) y La ciudad y el deseo (2007).
